The Jobs Board

The Maywood Public Library District is a job information resource center, so we encourage you to visit our Jobs Board, located on the back of the first floor. The Jobs Board is divided into four categories: customer service, warehouse, professional, and non-professional jobs. 

Along with the Jobs Board is a Work Buzz Tripod, with news on upcoming job fairs, seminars, and other related events.

Career Builder
Post up to five different resumes online.  You may choose various privacy levels in case you do not want every online company to view your resume.

A free resource for the community to access jobs and opportunities. This powerful new tool is for job-seekers to research and pursue job opportunities to fit their specific needs.

Chicago Transit Authority Second Chance Program
An initiative provided by the combined efforts of the City of Chicago, social service agencies, and the Department of Family and Support Services.  People that have difficulty finding employment may use this service to acquire full-time jobs and training.

Exploring Your Career Options
Offers suggestions on preparing for college, forms of aid, who can receive it, and repaying student loans.

Illinois Department of Employment Security
A state website for applying for unemployment insurance, claiming benefits, gaining information on the career and labor market, and accessing Illinois worknet.

A site for either individuals who are planning a career, or businesses searching for talent, training resources, or information for management.
This databases can be used to search through multiple job banks.
