A Celebration for John Prine’s Birthday

On Saturday, October 6th, from 3:00-4:00 pm, Rich and Vicki Ingle performed the music of John Prine at the Maywood Public Library District in celebration of his birthday. John Prine is a folk singer who was born in Maywood in 1946. He attended Proviso East High School and began his music career in Chicago. On September 9, 2005, John Prine was given the Artist of the Year Award. This event was free; cake was provided.
