News For You:
A special newspaper designed for people who are working on improving their literary skills.  It comes with a question and answer sheet to test a reader’s comprehension proficiency.

CD Player:
Patrons may check out books on CD/cassette tape with the actual book and read along with the narrator of the CD.  Library patrons are expected to bring their own headphones.

Computer:
A computer is available in the Literacy Room for patrons who need to take tests online or use literacy websites with their tutor.  Patrons who need to hear the programs they are using are asked to bring their own headphones. 

Typewriter:
People who prefer using a typewriter over a computer can do so in the Literacy Room. Typewriters are also useful for filling out forms.
